Village School PTO President and Round Lake Resident Shelley Trump and Round Lake Resident and Village School teacher Pam Fainman wrote me to remind me to attend and participate in the Village Elementary School PTO Fashion Show, Art Show & Auction this Friday, April 28, 6:30-8:30pm 880 W. Nippersink Road in Round Lake.There is a Fashion Show (7:00 to 7:30pm) sponsored by Kmart, Wal-Mart, VF Factory Outlet & Fashion Bug. Proceeds from the auction will help support our school art programs.
Among the things up for auction is the ability to be "Mayor for a Day" although why any would want to be do that is beyond me! Make a bunch of phone calls, eat candy, and then sit in some meetings......hummmm that sounds like me! Maybe I can schedule an irate resident to drop in, then we can brow beat a residential developer like a pinata, then make them buy us lunch. Now that sounds like a plan.
