“The Round Lake "Streets of Summer" is quickly approaching. With this year going to a three day event, we can always use more help. The festival committee is looking for people to assist in the beer tent, sell carnival tickets, work backstage loading and unloading band equipments, and just cleaning up the grounds.If you would like to help and you have any availability from July 28 thru July 30th, please send an email to Event Chairman Sean Gillette at RLFEST@eroundlake.com with what you are interested in doing. We have also added Bubbles the Clown face painter, G Tech Dance Unit, and the American Eagle Gymnastics not to mention that RL Park District Belly Dancing Troupe.
Overall, the fest is going to be bigger and better and nothing that the local towns has seen before. Over twenty carnival attractions, a bike show, a motorcycle show and great entertainment.
By the way Sean is a blogger as well! His blog can be found here, and its well worth checking out, but I would caution you, you need to be a White Sox fan to stomach most of it. He does however talk about the fest!
