One of the goals I had when I was elected was to create a festival for Round Lake. The long range goal was for us to have a celebration mechanism in place for our 100th anniversary in 2008. Our first year we had some great bands, the second year we had some name bands!Committee Chairman Sean Gillette has been organizing the festival for a three years now and each year he does a better job then the year before.The highlights (complete details are here) of this year are:
- 3 day festival (Friday, Saturday and part of Sunday)
- Located behind Magee Junior High School
- Large Carnival by Windy City Amusements
- 2 major headliners on both nights.
