My house sits at an angle to the prevailing wind that creates a powerful wind effect across the front of the house. I have had 4 flag poles ripped off the house in 6 years. Mayor Ted Mueller of Hainesville an engineer helped me with my last attempt to put one up. He assured me it would never come out. Well it did not but the bracket did snapping in half! I do have a bracket currently installed but if a small breeze comes up I scurry out to take the flag down, which leads to it being up infrequently.
Why is this of interest, well because the dish to get my internet was ripped off my house in the storm two nights ago! Talk about having internet withdrawals!
