We celebrated Arbor Day yesterday by giving away 100 trees to the first 100 families you showed up at the Village Hall at 11pm, there was a very nice crowd and quite a lot of energy.
The most energetic person in the crowd was the
Trustee Sherry Perkowitz, who was the driving force behind the the village getting the Tree City designation and the organizer of the event. I took a picture of her holding the plaque we received and standing next to the sign you will start seeing around town designating us as a Tree City!
