On Saturday I attended a block party at Prairie Walk. There was a nice crowd of residents I answered lots of questions about school districts, commercial development, Townline Road improvements, the new school, the new Public Works and Police Complex, and the extension of Cedar Lake road.
One funny thing happened however, I had purchased one ticket for the raffle, (not cheap I only had one dollar on me) and was asked to draw from about 200 total tickets, and I reached in an pulled out my ticket! I have done that at least three times in the last four years. Needless to say I threw it back.
