For those of us wondering why on Wednesday at around 7pm there were giant smoke plumes drifting, in the still air, over the south side of Valley Lakes. I found out the answer. The Fox Lake Fire Department scheduled a training burn until 9pm. The training site right in the middle of the construction site where the new Big Hollow School is going up was the chosen location. Seems quite "appropriate" to train at a construction site for a school.
It always nice to see taxing bodies collaborating on projects. Coordinating these things always is enjoyable I would imagine! I am sure all the relevant taxing bodies were involved in this one.
