I was invited to talk to the Lakewood Homes HOA meeting last night. They might be regretting that since I went on for about 2 hours until Sherry Perkowitz dragged me away from the Q &A. Hopefully I did not wear out my welcome.I got some great questions, transportation, SSA's, multiple taxing districts, questions on parks, and on commercial. Overall it was very good for me, I heard lots of things that we need to address as a village.
They have a very nice new web page which is linked above, they also have an energized forthright HOA board which is a huge step forward.
