Recently a rumor has been cruising around the old Brooks Farm Subdivision now called Prairie Pointe that they are going to be annexed into Round Lake. The answer is no! Its not even possible to actually do it without two things 100% interest from every single owner of Prairie Pointe and the desire of the village to actually annex the development. Both are not there. I suspect the rumor was started by a tiny subsection of unicorporated homeowners (4) who are upset that they can't ruin Wooster Lake for 100's of their neighbors. So I can safely reassure you that we will remain neighbors.
