Lake County and our partners continue to respond to the flood situation across the Fox River basin. More than 200 properties have been impacted by the flood and that number is likely to increase. Water levels through the Fox River and Chain O’Lakes will remain high for the next few weeks. The Villages of Antioch and Fox Lake; Antioch, Cuba and Grant Townships; Lake County Emergency Management; and the Lake County Stormwater Management Commission are working together with State and other local agencies to provide assistance to businesses and homeowners impacted by the Fox River and Chain O’Lakes floodwaters. The Fox River and Chain O’Lakes remain closed until further notice. Daily flood information is being posted at www.co.lake.il.us.
