I have been walking and or running at the Nippersink Forest Preserve recently and have mapped out what will be a reasonable route for my third annual race. I specifically walked the loop on Saturday with an eye towards having a race, while my daughter ran the route and offered me her thoughts.There are some nice steep hills so I am thinking we will have a very challenging race, however we are going to have to run one part of the loop first.
I need to confirm the date with the forest preserve, but I am shooting for a Saturday in late May or early June.
